Leadership announcement

Mike Llewellyn promoted to Chief Information Officer

We’re excited to announce that Mike Llewellyn has been promoted to Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Velonetic. This well-deserved promotion reflects Mike’s dedication, hard work, and continued commitment to excellence.

Prior to his promotion, as Head of IT Service Delivery, Mike played a key role in strengthening collaboration between Velonetic and DXC, evolving how we manage our complex production infrastructure and overseeing the reporting and governance framework that supports 430 Velonetic customers.

In his new role, Mile will have increased responsibility as CIO, including managing our Heritage Service and the transition to our new Digital Service, for which Mike’s function will take accountability for once in production.

While the transition to DPS has taken longer than expected, Mike and his team have made significant contributions and improvements to our Heritage systems. Through proactive incident prevention, response and management, system downtime has been reduced by 15%, whilst Market volumes have increased by 5% year on year.

“I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to help lead our continued technology evolution at Velonetic.” Said Mike.  “I’m excited to progress our stability programme with the current Production environments and looking forward to starting our Digital transition later this year. DPS is our future, and although the transformation is proving more complex than we initially thought, we have made great progress and will get there safely!”

Mike will continue to play a key leadership role at Velonetic and now steps into a director position within the DXC Technology ISB community.
